Following the June 2026 launch of the new Corporate Net-Zero Standard V2.0 by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), UN Global Compact Network Italy is hosting an in-depth information session on the subject, in collaboration with representatives from the initiative.
Highlights
The new Corporate Net-Zero Standard V2.0 represents the most comprehensive framework developed to date for corporate climate action. It features expanded tools for setting and implementing science-based targets, designed to balance scientific rigor and ambition with greater ease in developing concrete actions.
The session will offer Italian companies the opportunity to explore the key updates introduced, including a more flexible approach, a greater focus on implementation, and a continuous pathway toward net-zero.
This is a key event for understanding how to accelerate decarbonization, integrate climate action into business strategies, and reinforce the role of business in the global transition to net-zero by 2050.

The event is free and open to all interested individuals and companies, including those that are not UN Global Compact participants.
