The activity program offered by the Italian Network of the UN Global Compact was designed with the aim of walking alongside companies on their path towards sustainable development and supporting them with the most inclusive and synergistic approach possible: thanks to the work of the various teams, the 2026 program of activities is full of opportunities for discussion and in-depth analysis—designed to encourage engagement on concrete issues and a path to growth—but also institutional accreditation.
Guided by the new UNGC Strategy for 2030, our ambition is not only to preserve what we have built, but to further expand our impact, strengthen the ability of businesses to generate shared value, and contribute to a more equitable, just, and sustainable future, leaving no one behind.

The UN Global Compact Network Italy work programme is mainly composed of three types of activities:
-
promotion, with reference to the initiatives aimed to disseminate the UN Global Compact Ten Principles and the more general United Nations Goals (including Sustainable Development Goals - SDGs). This kind of activities includes also the initiatives of presentation of the Italian Network and of sharing of the UN Global Compact experience in Italy at new international and European contexts;
-
knowledge, with reference to sustainability themes and fields linked to them within the general UN Global Compact framework. These activities are mainly aimed to a knowledge sharing and a continuous update on the issues (through conferences, workshops, seminars, ect.) and represents an important opportunity for experiences exchange between participating organizations;
-
support, which means actions of assistance and support companies and organizations members of the Network in the implementation of the UN Global Compact Ten Principles both in the core business and in their sphere of influence, and reporting their sustainability performances.
