Topic
In June, the Italian Network organized a roundtable in Brussels titled "Sustainability Reporting in Transition – Omnibus, ESRS and Competitiveness," where representatives from European institutions, EFRAG, and Italian companies discussed the future of sustainability reporting in light of the Omnibus package.
During that event, the progress of the ESRS revision was outlined, focusing on strengthening the role of materiality as an information filter, shifting toward a more principles-based approach, and the evolution of the VSME as a future voluntary European standard.
Following that meeting, this in-depth webinar aims to provide participating companies with an analysis of the specific details of the ESRS revision. It focuses on new features introduced during the simplification process, operational implications for Italian companies' reporting processes, and framework elements that are still being defined. This initiative is part of the joint activities between the UN Global Compact Network Italy and EFRAG, reinforcing the constructive dialogue established with European institutions and companies in Brussels.

The event is free and open to all interested individuals and companies, including those that are not participants in the UN Global Compact.
