In 2023 UN Global Compact Network Italy launched the Working Table dedicated to Sustainable Procurement, with the aim of facilitating the exchange of practices and tools between companies adhering to the Global Compact on the sustainable management of supply chains.
The 2026 Edition of the Roundtable will be divided into four sessions, in which each meeting will include 3 main moments:
- a framework of the theme of the day (setting the stage);
- the presentation of company experiences (best practices);
- a practical session in groups which will also involve selected suppliers of the companies participating in the Roundtable, with the aim of encouraging a company-supplier comparison on challenges, opportunities, methodologies and tools related to the theme of the meeting (roundtable).
