GCNI Activities

The Global Compact Network Italy Secretariat promotes, coordinates and suggests different kinds of activities. As the other networks do (France, Spain, Germany, Northern countries, etc.), and following the guidelines of the Global Compact Office in New York related to the subject, Global Compact Network Italia is determined to:

• operate as United Nation's Global Compact platform both at national and regional level to promote the project and its ten principles;

• enhance the participants' engagement;

• involve the participants in a global network;

• help the participant companies to apply the ten principles, to follow learning activities and to produce the annual communications to be transmitted to the UN Global Compact (Communication on Progress);

• implement partnership project;

• keep in constant contact with the Global Compact Office in New York and with the other Global Compact local networks, in particular with the European ones;

• promote and facilitate the support of new companies in the initiative.
