tempioThe Global Compact Network Italy Foundation is one of the organizers of the seminar "The 2030 Agenda and the Sustainability Goals" to be held on 5th October from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. as part of the 2016 edition of the CSR and Social Innovation Fair.

In September 2015, Italy signed the 2030 Agenda making a strong commitment to achieving 17 objectives towards sustainable development (Sustainable Development Goals - SDGs) and 169 sub-objectives. The SDGs are becoming an increasingly important reference point for many companies. Several companies are anchoring their medium to long-term strategies to these prevalent objectives covering important development issues (combating poverty, eradicating hunger, fighting climate change, etc.). Because these objectives concern all countries and all individuals: no one is excluded, nor should anyone be left behind on the way towards bringing the world onto a sustainable path.

In the meeting some theoretical aspects will be explored and there will be discussions between various firms.

As an expert on the topic and in his role as Chairman of the Global Compact Network Italy. Prof. Marco Frey will be speaking.
