The Youth in Action for Sustainable Development Goals for young university students or under 30 graduates was launched on March 14th. The contest was promoted by Fondazione Italiana Accenture, Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei and Fondazione Giangiacomo Feltrinelli with the support of ASviS, SDSN Youth, AIESEC, RUS and Fondazione Collegio delle Università Milanesi. Participants are called upon to submit innovative ideas for projects that can contribute to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Italy.

The contest also provides a training opportunity: participants will have to attend a training cours of 4 e-learning modules aimed to provide useful skills for the development of the project idea. The authors of the best 20 proposals will be offered a paid internship (from 3 to 6 months) by the three Foundations that promoted the contest and by the partners of the initiative: Accenture, Autogrill, A2A, Croce Rossa Italiana, Eataly, Fondazione Bracco, Fondazione Milano per Expo 2015, Microsoft, MM, TechSoup, UBI Banca, UniCredit, Unipol, Vox Diritti, WWF. The best project idea will fly to New York to the International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD) 2017, the most important world conference on sustainable development topics.
