KPMG supports the Italian communities hit by the earthquake since the early months of this year.

The contribution is concrete and dedicated to the support of the populations and areas damaged by the earthquake. The appeal launched by KPMG has involved the most important resource, its people, by fundraising activities both through in-kind and financial resources.

The association Humana People to People Italy has walked along with the firm in the collection of clothes in some Italian offices (Milan, Turin, Rome, Naples and Florence) collecting 850 kg of fabric. In the meanwhile, an extraordinary collection of blood with AVIS Association has been organized to contribute to the problem of post-earthquake blood deficiency.

Last but not least it is crucial to mention the fundraising activity powered by KPMG together with the Fondazione Francesca Rava who put together € 70,000 in contributions from employees, shareholders, Alumni, plus some funds raised through an internal survey and doubled by KPMG Companies within the Italian Network.

The funding is aimed at building a kindergarten for the children of the City of Norcia.

KMPG strongly believes that this project represents an initiative to be proud of, because it expresses a tangible and concrete commitment to its communities and firm’s capacity for solidarity.
