Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM), has been nominated Hosting Institution of SDSN Italia by Prof. Jeffrey D. Sachs during the event “Research and Innovation for the SDGs: toward an Inclusive Green Growth - Launch Event of SDSN Italy”, which was held last 14 March in Milan.
The national network of SDSN aims at promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Italy through the development of activities and projects aligned with the international programs carried out by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), in particular in the fields of education, implementation and collection of innovative practices on the issues covered by the 2030 Agenda, and for the dissemination of solutions and tools from the world of research, business and public institutions. SDSN Italy also aims at promoting dialogue between national, regional and global initiatives for the SDGs, through the dissemination of international best practices in Italy, but also through the international enhancement of the experiences carried out by companies and organizations in our country.
SDSN is a network able to generate dialogues among different actors that wish to realize concrete and high impact projects on common sustainable objectives, favoring a positive relationship between academia and companies under the international auspices of SDSN, which is one of the most important promoters of sustainable development within the United Nations.
